Psychological thriller. This is a story of two women, living in a mysterious house, one in the past and other in the present, who both rent the same house in London. \u00a0Both women have suffered traumatic experiences. \u00a0The book was a bit confusing in the beginning since each chapter starts with the name of the individual woman who are the main characters and jumps between the past and the present. But once you get used to it, it is easy to follow. \u00a0The owner of the home (who is also the architect) is willing to rent to the right person, but they must follow his rules. I found it somewhat unrealistic that they each would agree to the rigid rules and regulations set by the owner, but they both found the simplistic style of living to their liking. \u00a0The owner of the home becomes involved with each woman. \u00a0Murder is involved and you wonder who the murderer is and what each woman’s motivation is for living in the house and becoming involved with the owner. \u00a0There is a surprise ending. \u00a0Note: Book optioned by Ron Howard to be made into a movie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
