The Four Tops & The Temptations, Jeff Foxworthy, Boyz II Men, Gin Blossoms, The Beach Boys and Michael Bolton are just some of the amazing acts that are performing at The Freeman Stage this summer – and it is located here in Coastal Delaware!
The Freeman Stage is a program of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, a fundraising 501(c)3 nonprofit arts organization that was established in 2007 to honor Josh Freeman, the former Chair of the Carl M. Freeman Foundation, after his untimely death in December of 2006. The Freeman Stage, opened in the summer of 2008, is an open-air performing arts venue located near Fenwick Island. The venue presents diverse performances in the genres of dance, live music, theatre and children’s programming. The Foundation’s mission, per the website, is to partner to present memorable performances and provide inspired arts education for all, while creating opportunities to elevate the human spirit – and they are successful in this mission year after year!
If you live in or visiting Coastal Delaware and have not been to The Freeman Stage, you really are missing out on amazing entertainment and a wealth of arts education for all ages.
